Like many love stories these days, Amanda and Kevin’s story began with a mutual like on a dating app. A harmless action that neither thought would lead to a wedding and future together.

Kevin and Amanda met in Spring of 2021. Their first date was in beautiful Jersey City, New Jersey at Pet Shop, a popular local hangout. Immediately, sparks were flying and both Kevin and Amanda sensed this was no ordinary first date. Subsequent outings followed, and before they knew it, they found themselves spending more and more time together.

Kevin was quickly thrown into Amanda’s family trip to Cape May in the summer of 2021. Kevin passed the test with flying colors, earning the approval of Amanda's family, most importantly Amber. Amanda knew if Kevin could survive that trip, he could really be the one.

Later in 2021, it was Kevin’s turn. Amanda was invited to Thanksgiving with the Tansey’s in Pensacola, Florida. A week in a small Airbnb with Kevin and his parents, Amanda found herself welcome and comfortable immediately. Another family trip off without a hitch and their relationship was full steam ahead.

In 2022 Amanda and Kevin took another big step and moved into their first apartment together in Hoboken. Through highs, like traveling around the world, going to concerts and watching Aston Villa, to the lows of devastating loss, Kevin and Amanda lean on and support each other through it all.

On July 1, 2023 Kevin proposed on the beach in front of Congress Hall in Cape May, where they went on their first vacation together and a place that they hold special in their hearts.

Amanda and Kevin are so excited for their next chapter and look forward to celebrating with everyone at their favorite place in September 2025!
